The House Rabbit Network operates in the New England area. Most of our foster homes are located in central and eastern Massachusetts. If we don't have a convenient foster home, we should be able to put you in touch with another organization that can assist you.

They are both very people friendly and love to be petted although they don't like being picked up too much. Selena likes to play chase and Bernice does lots of binkies or happy dances. Selena likes to explore, but Bernice is a bit timid. Selena is laid back while Bernice will grunt and lunge on occasion. They eat pellets during the day and salad and carrots in the evenings. They both go crazy for raisins. I mean really crazy for raisins. They have been trained to only get raisins when they are both in their cage. Just shake the raisin box and they will both run and sit in the cage. If Bernice is in the other room, Selena will go get the other bunny and chase her back into the cage. Their favorite toys are cardboard boxes, paper bags, and newspapers.
Paige and Shiloh
6 lbs, 5 lbs, DOB 11-06, 10-06, Florida White, Dutch
Paige is a pretty white bunny who is devoted to her pal Shiloh. Shiloh is very sweet and really enjoys attention. Shiloh and Paige are Fitchburg bunnies.
Riley and Scout
5 lbs, 5 lbs, DOB 5-06, 5-05, English Spot, Dutch
ADOPTED!
Two teenagers having the time of their lives. No worries, no fears, not a care in the world. Full of life and binkies, love to explore every nook and crannie, play with every toy and then when they've had enough, Scout does great "bunny flops" and Riley lays opposite Scout. This twosome will keep you entertained for long as you can watch them and play with them. Although they also seem to keep themselves entertained whether you're there or not.

Kelvin and Eli
7 lbs, DOB 11-06, Mixed
Eli (chocolate) and Kelvin (grey) are two adorable brothers with beautiful fur who are better as a pair than they are alone. Eli is the larger of the two buns, but he is very shy and relies on his smaller brother to protect him. Kelvin has the most unique facial expressions and gets very excited about his raisins! The boys like to share their salads and often end up nose to nose at the middle of a piece of lettuce or kale. Both boys have a lot of energy and really enjoy their play time when they can show off all their great jumps and flips. Both have good litterbox habits. Eli and Kelvin are Fitchburg bunnies.

These two sister are as cute as can be. They love to spend their time cuddling and grooming. Tootsie is spunky while Skittles is a little more shy. Tootsie has a knack for bringing out Skittles playful side. They love to run around and play with their cardboard tunnel. Their litterbox habits are very good.

Note: We'll have a special introduction this month of some BVSers who volunteer in rescue and adoption with the House Rabbit Network. If you would consider adoption (or fostering) of a domestic bunny in need, these natural vegetarians can be affectionate, interesting, joyful companions! They can be litterbox trained.
